With a unique sound during gear shifts and increased power and torque, encapsulated in a full titanium system, the Slip-On Line (Titanium) delivers the authentic Akrapovic experience while meeting ECE type approval. The system is made from lightweight, high-grade titanium alloys and features two sets of carbon-fibre/titanium tailpipes. Complex parts, such as valve housings and collectors, are manufactured at Akrapovic's in-house titanium foundry. Two valves, one on each side of the muffler, adjust the gas flow to create the distinctive Akrapovic sound, different from a standard X5M. The sound is most noticeable during gear shifts and acceleration and can be further adjusted with the optional Akrapovic Sound Kit for an enhanced auditory experience. Akrapovic stands that this product will achieve power gains of 12.1 hp at 2,400 rpm and torque increases of 35.4 Nm at 2,400 rpm, tested against a BMW X5M with a standard M Sport exhaust system. Akrapovic also offers optional visual enhancements such as a handmade carbon-fibre diffuser, adding an exclusive look to the car.

With the installation of the Akrapovic Sound Kit, ECE type approval for the Slip-On Line (Titanium) exhaust system is not valid.

For non-OPF vehicles, the ECE type approval certificate is not valid.

To install the Slip-On system, the stock exhaust system must be cut. Please read the instructions carefully before starting the installation.
