Alpine DVR-F790 Dashcam with WiFi, GPS, and Docking Station
The Alpine DVR-F790 Connected Dash Cam with docking function is an excellent choice for drivers and campers who appreciate high-quality 1080p video recordings and occasionally cross borders to countries that do not allow dashcams (e.g., Austria). The DVR-F790 can easily be removed from its docking station with the push of a button, while the dock and cables remain securely in place on your windshield.
When connected to an internet device such as your smartphone or vehicle's WiFi, the dashcam can store recorded footage in the cloud, allowing you to download and review videos from your smartphone at any time. You can even view live recordings and track your vehicle's location on a digital map.
Parking surveillance mode is activated automatically when you turn off the ignition, recording footage when motion or a collision is detected, providing you with video evidence of incidents while you're away from your vehicle. You can even enable push notifications on your smartphone to be notified in case of an impact greater than 3G.
To ensure excellent recordings day and night, the DVR-F790 is packed with fantastic technologies: Super Night Vision 3.0 paired with HDR ensures capturing important details even at night, while dewarping video technology ensures minimal distortion in all front recordings.

Integrated Docking System
Introducing the DVR-F790 with an integrated Dash Dock, enabling seamless removal of the camera from the windshield to comply with local regulations in countries where dashcams are prohibited (e.g., Switzerland and Greece). Unlimited Cloud Storage
Recordings can be seamlessly uploaded to the cloud if the DVR-F790 is connected to the internet via a smartphone hotspot or similar. Best of all, there is no limit to upload capacity. The ability to access your videos anytime, anywhere ensures convenience and flexibility, allowing users to easily share them with insurance companies or authorities as needed. This feature requires a free Thinkware Cloud account and allows viewing or downloading content from the cloud 100 times per month.
Excellent Full HD Recording Quality
High Dynamic Range (HDR) technology ensures optimal exposure and vivid details even in challenging lighting conditions. Outstanding clarity during nighttime driving is provided by Super Night Vision 3.0, allowing for improved visibility at night. The 140-degree viewing angle provides a wide perspective, capturing more of the road and surroundings in 1080p Full HD. Dewarping Technology delivers an accurate front image with minimal vehicle distortion, eliminating visual irregularities and preserving the true essence of the scene.
The camera has an RCA video output, allowing you to view either the dashcam or the rear-view camera's image on any screen with an RCA video input.
Advanced Parking Surveillance
With Energy Saving Mode 2.0, you can have parking surveillance of your vehicle for up to 17.5 days / 420 hours. If a collision is detected on your vehicle, your dashcam wakes up within 1 second and records the next 20 seconds. You will also receive a push notification to your mobile phone, and you can immediately see what happened on your display. With Time Lapse, the recording will be reduced to a speed of 2 frames per second, significantly reducing the file size.
Built-in Driver Assistance Features
The DVR-F790 is packed with many driver assistance features such as Lane Departure Warning (when leaving the lane at speeds over 50 km/h), Forward Collision Warning (when at risk of a forward collision), and Forward Vehicle Departure Warning. You can also activate speed and red light warnings. All warnings can be disabled individually if not needed.
Super Night Vision 3.0
The DVR-F790 is ideal for nighttime driving and is equipped with Super Night Vision 3.0 technology, which increases exposure levels in poor lighting conditions and enhances video brightness, ensuring you don't miss important details while recording at night.
GPS Driving Data
By using GPS data in a dashcam, it can accurately locate the vehicle's position and routes with its driving speed on the map. GPS helps you accurately assess the accident's status by providing the vehicle's speed, collision direction, and collision severity. The DVR-F790 not only records driving footage but can also be used to track and recall previous driving routes.
Expansion of Rear Camera
Alpine offers a rear camera with accessories (RVC-R790) that simultaneously records traffic through your rear window. This provides an extra layer of security during driving as well as in parking surveillance mode. When recording in 2-channel mode, you get around 2 hours of recording time in 1080p using the included 32 GB micro SD card until non-event recordings are overwritten. With an optional 128 GB card, this can be extended to 498 minutes.
