Powerflex Engine Mount Insert

Powerflex Engine Mount Insert is an intermediate alternative to BMW's aluminium inserts and the much stiffer full replacement engine mounts available on the market. Made in yellow 70A durometer material, they are designed to fit perfectly into the voids of the original engine mounts to restrict engine movement with minimal increase in NVH (noise, vibration, and harshness). This makes them ideal for tuned road cars. Their design and flexibility also mean they can be installed without removing the engine mounts.

Upgrading the inserts to reduce engine movement has the following benefits:
- Sharper throttle response
- Improved gear shifting
- More direct power transfer
- More balanced on/off throttle handling
- Prolonged life of the original engine mounts.

A small increase in NVH, usually at idle, should be expected when stiffening the connection between the engine and chassis. The harder the material used, the greater the NVH transmitted.

Note! Fits N52, N54, N55, and B58 engines only.
